Mental Health

For over 25 years, CAI has developed and provided training and technical assistance to providers of mental health and chemical dependency services. Our trainings include practical application and skills-building activities grounded in research and major behavioral theories commonly used in the field. Recognizing the need to address the mental health of clients across a wide spectrum of agencies, we provide training and technical assistance to help agencies identify client mental health and chemical dependency needs and facilitate the coordination of care between mental health providers in chemical dependency, HIV/AIDS, early childhood and adolescent health.

In addition to specialized training and technical assistance, delivered through in-person sessions, webinars, online learning programs, conference calls, and expert phone consultations, we also conduct public forums for targeted groups of consumers and providers (such as people living with HIV/AIDS and HIV/AIDS service providers). These forums are designed to increase general awareness and understanding of the prevalence of mental health issues within the target group and how to access services.
