OPA HIV Prevention Project

CAI has worked closely with the DHHS Office of Population Affairs (OPA) and Office of Family Planning (OFP) on several national projects, including 1) providing data management and evaluation support to OPA HIV prevention grantees since 2001, and 2) serving as the National Training Center for Coordination and Strategic Initiatives (NTC-CSI) since 2012.

The attached Data Reporting Instruction Manual describes the data reporting requirements, timeline, and submission procedures for the evaluation of Integrating Routine HIV Testing and Linkage to HIV Care and Treatment in Family Planning Services grants to Title X grantees to provide high impact HIV prevention (HIP) services that include opt-out HIV testing, linkage to care, behavioral interventions through counseling sessions, condom distribution, and sexually transmitted infection (STI) screening and treatment.
