The COE is excited to announce two new staff members that have joined the CAI team. In January, Lucy Paez Stelzner began at CAI as the Director of Family Planning and Reproductive Health Services and in February Dilrupa Haque began at CAI as the Program Coordinator for this project.

Lucy comes to CAI with an extensive public health background in the areas of reproductive health, community health and working with youth and adolescents within school-based health centers. Before working at CAI, Lucy was a program director in the school health program at Morris Heights Health Center, which is an FQHC located in the Bronx, NY. In this role, Lucy supported the development and implementation of school health services, collaborated with school administrations and supported program staff to provide quality reproductive health services in a school setting. In addition, Lucy has previous experience working within community health at school-based health centers, as well as running a family resource center. Lucy received her Master of Public Health degree with a focus in maternal and child health from Boston University School of Public Health, as well as her Master of Science degree with a focus in health communication from the University of Wisconsin Madison.

Dilrupa Haque is the new Program Coordinator at CAI working on various projects including NYS COE, School-Based Health Centers, and Maternal and Infant Health.  She is a Brooklyn native and took part in two AmeriCorps service-terms before joining the team at CAI, one at NYC Emergency Management and another at FEMA Corps.  She majored in International Relations during her undergraduate study at the State University of New York at New Paltz.
