Training/Curriculum Coordinator (CAI Atlanta)

CAI is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual for the PART-TIME (50% FTE), exempt position of Training/Curriculum Coordinator. The focus of this role will be the coordination of activities and project management of the creation and development of curriculum training packages as part of the National HIV Classroom Learning Center (NHCLC). The Training/Curriculum Coordinator will help support the NHCLC Lead for Curricula and material development of multiple project that involve development of curricula and supporting educational materials as well as revision of existing training packages, through the coordination and management of related activities and tasks. This position will be located at CAI’s Atlanta office.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule meetings for CAI staff and consultants as well as subject matter experts from CDC
  • Assist with the development of agendas, prepare meeting materials and document minutes related to curriculum development activities
  • Assist Curricula Lead and material development with managing work plans by creating project management tracking tools to help with project timeliness
  • Provide editing and formatting of written materials
  • Work cooperatively with project staff and training teams at CAI headquarters and satellite locations to coordinate the development of training curricula, handbooks, manuals, toolkits, and text for classroom training programs
  • Participate in team and workgroup meetings
  • Performs other duties as assigned

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS, CREDENTIALS and OTHER PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • BA/BS/BSW preferred. High school diploma required
  • Excellent word processing skills, experience with Sharepoint, Zoom, Microsoft 365 and project management software
  • Detail oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Demonstrated planning and project management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, as well as oral & written communications skills

OTHER PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with public health issues, particularly HIV prevention 
  • Familiarity with training and adult learning environments
