Project Coordinator, Data Integration Systems and Quality (DISQ)

CAI, a training, technical assistance, and research-to-practice nonprofit organization, is seeking a highly motivated professional for the full-time position of Project Coordinator, Data Integration Systems and Quality (DISQ) within the Research and Evaluation Department. The preference is for this position to be based in CAI’s NYC, Buffalo, Atlanta, Denver, and Los Angeles offices,but we are open to remote candidates based elsewhere in the United States. 

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The DISQ Coordinator will provide support and assistance for a national training and technical assistance cooperative agreement funded by HRSA’s HIV/AIDS Bureau, as well as provide coordination for research and evaluation-related activities across CAI’s projects. The successful candidate will support the DISQ Team and the Research and Evaluation team with coordination of basic project activities, assistance to project teams as needed, and implementation of evaluation and research activities.

MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but are not limited to)  

  • Coordinates regular administrative project activities for DISQ including email communication with diverse stakeholders, management of website content, data entry, schedule coordination, file management, and technical support on remote calls 

  • Manages internal cloud-based database systems to track TA, resource development, and evaluation findings 

  • Tracks resource development, updates, utilization through online ticketing processes and website analytics 

  • Assists with evaluation activities (e.g., literature reviews, needs assessments, surveys, logic models, evaluation reports, etc.) for DISQ as well as other CAI projects as assigned related to reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, maternal and child health, trauma informed care, performance management, and health systems change 

  • Uses Zoom and/or other virtual learning platforms to manage all the technical elements of the training including providing technical support to training participants. 

  • Attends and takes notes on meetings with diverse stakeholders as needed 

  • Develops and maintains internal protocols to streamline processes and ensure efficient replication of regular project activities 

  • Tracks and ensures on-time delivery of action items assigned to team members, subcontractors, and partners 

  • Ensures accessibility/508-compliance for all project resources delivered to the field 

  • Assists in writing reports, developing PowerPoint presentations, and producing data summaries/dashboards 

  • Manages and coordinates development of and updates to project resources, including collation of all training materials and coordination of curriculum and tool development 

  • Provides projects with assistance developing evaluation plans and tools including logic models, needs assessments, surveys, focus group discussion guides, and interview guides  

  • Routinely analyzes evaluation data to report on progress achieved in measuring projects’ process and outcome measures  

  • Completes other health systems evaluation tasks, including preparing IRB protocols, preparing evaluation reports, submitting abstracts to conferences 

  • Performs other duties as necessary/assigned

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Undergraduate degree in health/social sciences, public health, or an equivalent combination of education and experience  

  • Strong writing and communication skills 

  • Experience working in evaluation or research in a social science setting 

  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)   

  • Familiarity with qualitative/quantitative data analysis software, data collection/management programs, and visualization (e.g., Atlas.ti, STATA, SPSS, REDCap, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) 

  • Familiarity with evaluation frameworks and approaches including performance measures/continuous quality improvement, Implementation Science theories, Kirkpatrick, utilization evaluation, and action research 

  • Creative mindset and ability to think outside boundaries 

  • Strong attention to detail 

  • Strong team player and adept at managing multiple projects and priorities
