Curriculum Development Intern

CAI is a global public health non-profit organization focused on ensuring quality health care and social services for vulnerable populations. CAI is looking for one or two curriculum interns to assist the Curriculum/Distance Learning department in a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to the development and writing of training curricula, handbooks, manuals, toolkits, and text for distance learning projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain real world, practical experience working with a variety of projects and subject areas. The ideal candidate(s) can work independently as well as with a team, has a positive attitude, and an appetite for problem solving.


  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong information gathering skills
  • Keen attention to detail


  • Knowledge of Adult Learning principles
  • Experience with curriculum design
  • Experience with distance learning systems and technologies
  • Formatting and design experience

This internship entails about 10-20 hours per week, with exact start and end dates to be discussed. The position is unpaid; however, CAI will facilitate college credit working with the requirements of your academic institution.
